ok im just learning the dark basic program and im trying to make a simple game were ur a little "good" ball and u move around a matrix and shoot, that i have already made and texturized and there are other "evil" balls randomly placed around the matrix.

1) how do i make a person or in this case ball shoot.
2)chase cam for the ball.
3)randomly place the ball and the evil balls on the matrix.

like i sad i just got the program about 4-5 days ago and im not good at all yet so any help would be nice.

i will...WIN!

1) For the ball shooting look @ tutorial 15 in the book you should have got with DB.

2) To chase the ball do you mean follow it. If so look @ tutorial 4 in the book or on the net

3) by using the rnd and position commands like this:

if anyone camp put in any of there tid bit on how to do it that would be good to. um also if i dont have the book it came with is there a way i can still look at the tutorials from the book???
