i have found a site that has 3d canvas on it and its free. it says its from amabilis software. Its amost exactly like the DB one they have here. Same features and everything.

newer versions are not and it has not always been free.

Trying actually reading the site you found? It will explain the differences between the various versions. The free one being next to useless due to not being able to export a file format you could ever use with DB.

Yeah the crappy thing is even after you buy it, you have to pay for it again every year or so if you want updates. You shouldn't have to pay for bug fixes and minor feature enhancements. Oh well though, its a good prog so a lot of people use it anyway.
