Okay, I my ultimate aim is making a Wipeout Clone (AG-Racing sim)... However, I know that I will not be able to just jump in at the deep end and start off coding it. Are there any specific areas I should learn first...? Such as, should I learn every command, or just commands relevant to achieving my goal? Also, where/how are the best ways of learning them?

Right now I have DBC, and a copy of DBPro I borrowed from a friend that I gotta give back in 2 weeks, but if you think it is relevant I can buy a copy of DBPro...

Best to learn your way around the language first, then slowly move your way up to a big project.

Restart, I would set yourself simple achievable goals, that will help you learn the language a little at a time.

Example:
1) Display an object on the screen.
2) Change the objects direction by moving the mouse.
3) Move the object around by pressing keys.
4) Get the camera to stay behind the object when it moves around.

Slowly slowly catchy monkey.
