This thread is to talk about console games you've played or want to play. Talking about games brings up interesting conversations.

I'll start it by asking if anyone has played Custom Robo and if it is good.

Without hating, this world would be perfect.

I had Armor Core 2 : Another Age. But sold it 'cause it wasn't fun to me. Maybe I won't like Custom Robo 'cause I just don't like robot games. I like Halo and Kingdom Hearts. Even though you can't really compare those two completely different games. I still haven't got Ultima weapon or beaten Sephiroth. Actually, I think I lost that game.......

No, you can fight Sephiroth at the Coloseum in Kingdom Hearts. And you have to Synthesize the Ultima Weapon.

Never played it. But, I beat Kingdom Hearts 2 1/2 times. I love that game and can't wait until part 2 comes out. Has anybody played Conker's BFD. I played it at my friend's house. The second Conker game is coming out this year.

Beyond Good & Evil... pure class in a neatly wrapped GC/XB/PS2/PC packaging
It is one of the best programed games i've had the fortune to play as it is the only game i've never found a bug in. ^_^

@Raven : Don't forget Mario Kart 64. That had a bug in it. On versus mode on the level where there's a lot of floors and each floor is a shade of red or green, if you fly over the wall you just keep falling for a long time surrounded by white. Unless they did that on purpose, then..... you're right. lol

I like Chrono Trigger for the SNES and Final Fantasy 3, those games were fun. Then there was some other super games like Secret of evermore, which also was fun. Most recent games I been playing though was Skies of Arcandia and Harvest moon and simpsons hit and run. The game I will get next is Tales of Symphonia.

Xena was hot. Only if she was still on tv.

Oh, my bad. I thought you said it was the only game that you've ever found a bug in. Vice City (for PS2) has so many bugs in it it's not even funny.

007 Goldeneye, gotta love that game.

Controls system and the game just generally seemed rushed, not polished enough. Was a good game; I think most of the public had unrealistic expectations though, same goes for the movies.

I'm so damn glad I ignored all of the hype for the movies.
Look at the difference between the Matrix Trilogy and Lord of the Rings; both were great high budget films... but you don't hear of anyone cept nerds saying it's untrue to the original story really bitching about the LOTR movies, but so many people were like "Oh Morpheus' speach in Reloaded was too long" and alike; the speech was like 40seconds, if that... the 'sex' scene was longer, but still was hardly onscreen for more than a minute before we were back to the story.

Only part of the films I felt did kinda outstay it's welcome was the smith scene, particularly when the music was feeling too repetitive and the CG was just ashamingly bad. The building people had done a bloody fantastic job, most don't even realise that is CG, but you then look at what was done in Softimage with Neo and Smith... bleck; the artists had no damn conception of how to actually use the Shader system or Mental Ray properly.

hell people expect more realism in the games than were in those characters!

CastleVania Synphony of the Nights is easily one of the best games of all time.

I still play it too this day, and yes, it is still awesome.

There´s a Harvest Moon game for the GC. I was going to get it but I got Ninja Gaiden instead.I wonder what I missed out on. I have no idea why I like the GBA version but it´s just so adictive.
Enter the Matrix:

Yes, but I can´t stop imagining what it could have been like with decent animations, controls bla bla bla. And who wants to play as goaty man anyway?

About Custom Robo, I am up to the Outer World part(I rented it for 2 days!)part, about 1/2 through the game. I personally love the Metal Ape, with the Gatling gun, Standarrd S bomb, Speed D pod, and Long Thrust legs. Then you can take 300hp from the enemy in seconds with a fast and strong onslaught! The RPG is too Pokemon-like in nature, the gameplay in battle rules all Nintendo games hands down, and the rest is up to you!

Conker's New Game is an XboX exclusive because Microsoft bought out Rare and it's actually just Conker's Bad Fur Day with Revved up graphics offline with a huge more focused online game. And it's coming out early 2005.
Can't wait for Sudeki,Fable,Jade Empire,KOTOR 2,Citizen Zero, Halo 2, Prince of Persia 2, Zelda GCN, Zelda the Minish Cap
Luv : Morrowind GotY, KOTOR, Pandora Tomorrow
Custom Robo is a decent game but not super fun.

Got anime?
I do.

Harvest moon for the GC was great and just addictive as the other games in the series. It was also the longest with a 30 year story. If some one buys Tales of Symphonia tell me because I was considerig buying that game. Anyway most anticipated games right now are RE4,metriod prime 2, and Kingdom hearts 2.

I just beat Knights of the Old Republic. Great game, is there another ending where you can be evil?

alot of the games I really like are short like Prince of Persia and Ico. I like puzzle solving\adventure games. So I fell in love with the Zelda seires.

I like the PSP and some of the games look awesome but the only problem I have is the price. $300 seems like alot for a handheld, which is why I might end up buying the DS.

PSP be might even be a whopping $500.
BTW, Almost beat Kotor my self as a light character I'm at the last battle with Malak. Just started a dark character and I'm still in the upper cities of taris but he has a tint of red already!

Your right TravisBASIC in the end the PSP might be cheaper and right now it definitly looks to have better games. I am still not sure why nintendo once again chose to go with cartridges instead of disks. It seems like the N64 days all over again.

Aren't there some advantages to having cartardiges instead of disks?

(thats actually worth using them...?)

Yeah I think that cartridges store less data but have short to no load times while disks can store more data but they have longer load times. Bu disks can also be produced at a lower price than cartridges.

If you want to be done after one player mode Custom Robo is good. It has practically no replay value though.

You should get a DS. Just my opinion
