3 Dimensional Chat / setting FOV

i want to set camera FOV [1], 45 but it tells "could not determine parameter type of "[1]" at line 21. does that mean i dont have a camera set? i am using the xcol code to help me to move around to get a feel around the world but even thats not working properly. is there anyway that i can move around without collision detection? and stiull have FOV? ( im a major noob sorry)

set camera fov 1, 45
should work - the [] are not needed and will confuse the compliler

PC Spec- AMD Athlon 2.0Ghz, GeForce FX5200 128mb, 512MB of ram, Win XP Home SP1

Error 0 = no error - how is this an error the???

Also, if you have not created camera 1, you're going to have problems. The default camera is 0.

Sorry Pheonix, but that is funny, "compliler"

45 is kind of a small field of view, 90 is more common for video games. The smaller the fov, the less you will see on the screen.
