Newcomers DBPro Corner / Making an exe?

I can save the source but i can't save the exe...well i don't really know how to save the exe file..
i don't want to run DB to run my prog

once you have your source, press F5 to run it. this will build the exe in the folder where the source is located.

No it won't. That will only compile and execute the program within DB. You need to press F6 to build an exe, or if your program has media then press F7.

Or, if u have DarkBASIC Lite like me, you will not be able to build exe's.

Cattle was talking about DBPro. In DBP, if u press f5, it will Build an EXE.

I have 3 files in my folder one is a BAK file other DBA file and the other DBPRO flie

i searched the forum for a changing icon thread..but they always say that its posted somewhere else and tell you to search the forum
wouldn't it just be easier to give a like of the thread then
