Well yeah, I wondered if you'd post. I meant that you didn't have to download 25 megs or so to use. <G>

Kinda silly to use your plugin for a program if that's all the program'll need it for.

Then say that when you post - "I need code, but please, no plugins"

And theres the winch at every turn, posting umpteen lines of code of how to do stuff in dbp when dbp is sadly lacking in many of the basics....no, not even the basics, the prerequisites.

Um, copying directories is a prerequisite for what is primarily a Game Creation language?

There is no dir copy function in .Net either is there?
System.IO.Directory.Move()
System.IO.Directory.Delete()
but no
System.IO.Directory.Copy()

Unless I missed it.

Still the file related stuff in dbpro could be improved. Directory funtions are proberly a step too far for a game language though, exes are big enough allready

I meant this generally - not in relation to a CopyDir function specifically. I should have been more clear. Either way I felt there were a great many basic things missing in the core language so I wrote myself a dll which Exeat was kind enough to wrap for me. Then we decided to share it with whomever wanted to use it.
Use it. Don't use it.

Either way, have fun.

Directory/file handling in DB Pro sux. Very rudimentary. File handling for games could be useful, i already slammed my head into the wall when trying to fiddle with filehandling in db pro
