I think its come out. I've seen all these reviews of it. The x800 beats it in most tests, but not by much

6800's are out, but they're not widely available yet.
There really isn't a point in releasing them fully until Microsoft *finally* release DirectX 9.0c
As they get a noticeably speed boost from it.

Also nvidia has decided to postpone the release until the entire 6-Series line is completed in September.
Hopefully when XP SP2 and DirectX 9.0c are both finally released.

The reviews are of the Reference versions of the card, which were running on unoptimised drivers, lower clocks speeds and are generally slower than the retail versions. (by around 15%)
