Just testing it out!

This is a Watercolour that I made in 1987.

I was at Art College, just learning.

Might post some more scans later.

Nice work Pincho! Congrats on the scanner. Do you plan on scanning in traces for 2d sprites or 3d models?

I like the vibrance of you color palette, not too washed out, not too opaque. Is the Shrek one wate color as well or is it pastell?

The Shrek picture is the same Watercolours as the first pictures.

I plan on scanning in Photographs of front/side heads to make models at the moment. Then I can put my daughter in her own game.

I do have plans to use the scanner for ink outlines later, mainly faces for sprites. Faces are hard to get right with a mouse. For bodies I have better methods, like poser.

Nice,

You've have a great abilty to show mood through use of color.
Especially the surrealness in the second one. And the fun explosive warmth in the Shrek.

I am trying to decide how I feel looking at the third one. Pandas usually have a sad look to them, and the darkness and blues in the pallette add to this. But the girl doesn't looked depressed so the piece is uplifting. And she looks comforted, as if someone relaxed on a rainy day. Very nice. I'm not sure if I got the right fell though...

Is the first one "A Mid-Summer's Night Dream?"

Can't wait to see more, as well as the models!

The second picture is just what I imagined on a white paper. Like practice for drawing a tree without seeing a tree. Not accurate really, but strange.

The third picture was from a photo that I took of a friend with her panda. I am a photo enthusiast. I have worked on weddings.

Great use of color. I reccomend getting a wacom tablet or even a stylo (which costs much less and is just as good).
