Yup, and you'll find at least one in the codebase or code snippets forum, I made one myself a while ago so you might have to dig - check the codebase first though.

My 2 cents... I dont believe in 'lense flare'. The point of a game (im assuming youre making a game here) is to immerse the player in a world. How can you feel immersed in a world if youre supposed to be looking through a camera? Youre supposed to be IN the world. Now I dont know about you, but when I look at the sun in real life (btw not a good idea), I dont get all those pretty colors and circles.

All you need is zeal

Ermes: E dai!!! Togli pure il "circa"... Italiano... puro sangue... ma che sfortunatamente vive in Svizzera!

Zeal: I understand your point of view & I have to admit that I thought the same thing... but you have also to admit that the visual effect is great. In my game, the player is the camera. So I think a little lens flare would be nice!!! But moderate in its usage!
(If you want to see of what I'm talking about, get a look on this thread: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=31424&b=1

VanB: Thanks for the tip & the tutorial, i found it & now I just have to try it & adapt to my game!!

Ma che bello. Ora scivo nel mio povero inglese senĂ² qui si incazzano!! non sono proprio degli esterofili!

I think the visual effect is great, Lens flare are a good FX to place in your game , Guido.
Whatever is your gameplay, fps, shootemup, ecc ecc, still a good effect to use.

Ciao.
