Hoss says he's C-M-C's brother. There has been absolutely no evidence towards this seeing as they talk and act the same. But Hoss is Wooly Mammoth Games, who has also tried to trick people with his schemes even if they are different people.

I'm reserving judgment on the book until I see it. It might be plagarised, it might not. If it is, it'll probably earn Hoss a ban and the issue will be resolved. If it's not, I'll look at him with a good deal more respect... but that still doesn't give any evidence towards him not being C-M-C, and I will not forgive C-M-C's crimes.

But he IS CmC, did you not see my evidence against him?

Plus, the password I took out of those emails was the SAME password that Chris used to register his subdomain back in the day, the jury doesn't have to deliberate long for that one! STAMP... GUILTY

Powersoft: I don't quite understand what you're trying to say.
EDIT2: Ok, after reading it the 9th time I got it But Rich, we're not jeering at him because of his brother, WHAT BROTHER? We're mad at him because of him, because we don't believe he is someone else.

The problem with your logic, Powersoft, is that if this hypothetical football match was really like this situation, the bad player wouldn't only be scoring badly, he'd be gouging peoples' eyes out and kicking players in the nuts and shouting racial slurs while he threw the ball into the stands... and most important of all, he and his brother would mysteriously never be seen in seperate places at the same time . So you see, the smart people who are experienced with his evil ways are the ones who figure out what he's only pretending to have/be a brother so that he won't get in the trouble he deserves.

That's what this situation is like.

Please forgive my ignorance, I was not aware of his past, as megaton has already stated I am fairly new to this community.

As a developer I also believe that copying (read: stealing) others code, art, music or whatever is the worst kind of crime within the software development business, and can never be forgiven.
But I still think he should be given a fair chance, so I will eagerly await this book's release and judge him afterwards.

OK< fair enough Jimmy, you've got me. Ban me if you like, but a few last words:

1. I have been writing this to try to help newbies because not all of the people here with great knowledge of DB/DBP are willing to help.
2. I have not had pirated work on my site for around 1/2 year, and all the work that I had on my site that was not mine was given to me by a team member saying it was his work, and I did not do a background check.
3. I have given up on team requests, and make all the media, coding, and sound for my games, so spamming the Team Request Board is no longer an excuse for banning me.
4. I will continue work on the book, and I will release it, even if I do lose money, I may even give it away for free, as my sole intent is to help beginners.
5. I offered my web design services, am currently doing a site for IanM (who btw, is much more credible than you) and those templates were resellers, and now the new templates that I have I designed. I am sure ReD_eYe appreciates the site that I designed for him.
6. 50/50 means in my terms, everyone who helped with the book will get an equal share of the pie.

GOOD BYE

There's no problem so large it can't be solved by killing the user off, deleting their files, closing their account and reporting their REAL earnings to the IRS.

Actually that one isn't exactly true. You once posted mech concept art that you claimed you made in MS paint when I knew that you infact got them of the Lore project site and so did you. You got busted that time aswell, so don't give us this bull that someone "passed it on to you".

Ahhh, that's better. See Chris, I actually have more respect for you now that you've come clean.

IanM probably let you design his site, because you're doing it for free. And a free, crappy site is better than no site. Not to say your site would be crappy, I haven't seen your actual work.

Anyway, good luck with everything and I hope everyone enjoyed this as much as I did.

Oh and mouse, waiting for the release of the book would defeat the purpose of the boycott, because in order for you to READ it you'd have to BUY it, DUHHHHHHH-- *cough* *hack*

I saw the post in which the site design was proposed. I think it should be noted that IanM didn't go and search for Hoss, or anyone for that matter, to design his site.

What transpired:

Hoss posted in a thread that IanM's site didn't look so good, and that he should let Hoss design one for him. From what I can remember IanM simply said, "Sure go for it. I haven't worked on the site in a year, and it needs a redesign." (or something like that). I'll try to locat the post and post it here.

Found it!

Thanks IanM....by the way, your site is OK, but I would love it if you would allow me to do a redesign for you for free.

"..your site is ugly and could be so much better.."

Or along those lines anyway. I think that....
well nevermind, I'll reserve what I think.

I am being honest with this, I have never had any mech related stuff on my site, the chess game yes, and same with pikachu II, which were both given to me by a person named "Ben Dimelow" who WAS part of the team.
