here is a model that i'm finishing for the street of rage revival ( see it at programmation topics ) i'd need some advices and crits to make it better , do you think that the texture resolution would be sufficient ? do you think that the texture is well for a 200 ko size ? comments , hints , and reacts would be appreciated !

A program is sensed to be a conventional mean to give orders to a computer and not being obscure, weird, and full of traps ,that is closer to magic stuff (Dave Small).

In general its OK

just...
there are some proportions problems as much as I can see ...his arms are too short

there is strange holle in his stomach

some vertices doesn meet where they should at the bottom of his torzo ...there is hole in mesh (probably result of mirroring), weld them together

head is undermodeled when compared to rest of the body

draw some shadovs where diferent materials meet ...skin to shirt, trouders to shirt, coat to skin and shirt

draw also darker and lighter areas on texture ...play with light and shadow on your texture since untill now it looks flat -make it more plastic ...one of the important features of texture is that it alowe you to make your model look more detailed then it real is.

Also general hint: use reference pictures to model, not only sketches, they help you to keep basic proportions of human body. This is not walid of course if you go for wery stiled look (anime for example) but then you should draw good sketches from diferent views.

ok , too late to make mesh modifications , because it would oblige lme toremodel completly the UVW map , and i must work on other models ... anyway , i added some shadows on the jean , and modified the head , do you think that its better ??
