I'm trying to design an 80's style isometric game, but rather than using false 3D from 2D, I'm aiming to simplify it by doing it in 3D.

However, the perspective ends up skewing the image - see the following example as to how the foreground is distorted.

I'm sure there's a simple way round this. Please help!

Do a search on ISOMETRIC - it's been discussed previously, with code to back it up. It may even be in the CodeBase.

That was my first step. There was an aborted thread in the forums, but nothing along these lines in the codebase
