Newcomers DBPro Corner / [DBpro] text appearing behind sprites

Here's the problem, I am trying to make text appear on the screen in a little textbox. Here's a screenshot to explain:

I've moved the textbox along so that you can see the text should be there...
it's a simple sprite command i'm using to display it, and the text is just normal text. So I got no idea what's being done wrong...

There a way to make it so text appears on top of the sprites?

Unfortunately, it's not quite that easy. To get text to draw on top of a sprite, you tell DBPro to draw sprites before anything else - including 3D rendering.

One way to get around this is to paste the image onto the display and then output your text, instead of using a sprite.

I just noticed that prob with it appearing behind my 3D stuff when I went to code it

Using the paste command works though... I had always thought the sprite and paste image commands worked much the same way silly me
