why isn't my trial version of darkbasic pro not working correctly on 3d? it does on other things like text and 2d.

it gives an error:"runtime error 1511. Invalid parameters at line 0" but there isn't any line 0!!

i got ati 3d rage pro and i have directx 8.0 sdk
a code from the tutorial:

What version of DB do you have?

Pro requires DX8.1 and DBV1 7.0.
