what program do you big and great programming guys use to make 3d models and where to get it?

Well, I use Cinema 4D 7XL (the student version as my Mums at University). Its around £120 - fully working (restricted license though)

Im not a great model maker, but, I know a few great progs for making 3d models. I use Rhino, which, has its up and downs. Others, like, MrTAToad prefer Cinema. There is also TrueSpace, which, is expensive as well, and, 3d Studio Max. These are all great programs, which one you choose depends on what type of models your making, and what you want from them

DBPro has problems with Cinema's exported data - both .X and .3DS - hopefully the next patch will fix it.

lol, raven. I should have other people do my modeling, but I use True Space! I love it!!!!!!!!

1.00 GHZ processor, 256 MB RAM, GeForce 3 64MB, SB Live!, 8 cans of soda per day
