Hi all,

I've got BF1942, BFVietnam, and yesterday I got the excellent Call of Duty. What other great war FPS games are about? - not too heated about FarCry as it won't be that playable on my PC.

if you want a great free game, try out America's Army. It has pretty fun multiplayer.

I don't see how you can buy BFVietnam though- it is almost exactally the same as BF1942.

Call of Duty is Awesome Though...

I say try Operation Flashpoint. Even though it's not a real war (or so we THINK...... dun dun dunnnn) It's probably my favorite military game of all time.

Tom Clancy's "Ghost Recon" is alright but the best wargame FPS has to be Operation Flashpoint at least when it comes to realism. The Medal of Honor series was pretty good too.

MOH: Rising Sun doesn't do the series justice, it was way to short and not that fun compared to the others.

Yeah, I think Day Of Defeat went downhill as soon as they tried to make it overly realistic, so much so that it makes Counter-Strike look play Quake.

Thanks guys, Gonna check out that Americasarmy thing as soon as I can leave my PC alone long enough to download it .

I need more co-op LAN style games like BF1942, playing with my 2 bro's on their PC's, damn fine game - I wish Call of Duty had a co-op mode . Working in the same team over LAN is great fun.

Counterstrike...........UT.........my obsessions....
Not really the war theme, but awesome anyway.
Don't bother with MOH Rising Sun, get Allied Assault if you don't already have it. I don't think it's much for multiplayer but the single player kick as usual with MOH.
