Hello, I have a question..... I want to pack all my media into a file... BUT I want it so you dont have to include the media in order to play the game

You want to make a game where the media doesn't have to be present inorder to play the game? Maybe you should rephrase your question. I don't know what you want.

I can tell you right now, that if you don't have a model present that your game is tryign to load... The game will hault really fast. End of game... SILLY!

I have filesystem, where you pack all media into one big file and when you want add in future some media to your game and don't want recompile whole bigfile, you can create special directory and move new or modified files into this directory and all media in this direcotory override all media in bigfile. All is quite simply code. It is quite good idea if your game is distributed and you want change one texture or so and you can send only this texture. I have also all scripts and configs in this file and if I develop my game I put all scritps and config in this special folder and all can be changed without recompilation of bigfile.
