The other day i got a wireless wi-fi card fr my lap-top and today i downloaded netstumbler and went wardriveing. i was just wondering if any one else ever goes wardriveing.

Nope. Mainly because I dont take my laptop anywhere...
However, both McDonalds and Starbucks here have mobile access points.


I came, I saw and I forgot all about it... or something...

Also, it just happens to be illegal.

It counts as unauthorised access to computer systems as far as the UK goes. I don't know how the US deals with it, except its probably going to be something federal ...

as long as you dont try to get their personal info and the network admin says you can in the U.S its legal. Also i just use netstumbler to view networks, i dont check my email so therefore im pretty shure it dosent count as acessing their system.
