Further on in my 3d experience (u will notice i have posted a few messages over the past few days!!).....

okay so i have my BSP loaded, can move the camera - and added some code so that if the camera goes close to the floor or sky it stops rotating to far.

BUt.......

I have just loaded an object and positioned it in the 3d world by a wall in my game.

BUT BUT>...... when i move the camera, i expected the area to move, and the character stay there until i instruct it otherwise - however it starts moving when i move the camera - why???/ Surely it should just stay where it is in relation to its location???

I wouldn't use BSP(Use .x).
There's a no-DLL collision script called XCol(for .x).

thanks for replying

The thing is though its someting to do with the camera. When i move it the world moves and the static objects i have placed dont move in relation to where they are. Say one is standing by a wall, by the time i have moved the camera to that location, the object has moved elsewhere. Really odd - how do i just get it to stay where it is?
