how do you change the icons for games without downloading any icon making software - can you just change the extensions from bmp to ico for example? Do the icons need special names? is any extra code required in the programs? What size do they need to be?

Am I the only one here who's really confused?

You can convert bitmaps to icons with InfranView.
The first icon you add is the default one.
Change icons using a certain command in "Display".

Ilya, I think you might be getting mouse cursors and icons mixed up.

DB/DBP does not have an easy way to change icons. Do use the search button to find how others have solved the problem.

Well, actually, DB does have a very easy way to change Icons. At least in DBC, mabey not DBP.... But here's a link to download it... but it must be in .bmp or .ico format, be 16-bit color, and 32x32 in size.

EDIT: Oops, forgot the link.
