Just finished re-playing an old game Oni [PC roughly 3/4yrs old] and then started on the newest Splinter Cell [playstation]. You know what? I gave up, bored. Had more fun running around in Oni....

-Splinter Cell II looks fantastic, well produced, zero freedom and dull one dimensional objectives [repeat untill you get the timing right], new level loads every third room!

-Oni, very basic looking, large levels, nice but simple, fast and you feel like you're playing something more open...

Just shows, pretty graphics covering up a lack of ideas and game play. The first Splinter Cell was good [I thought] but this was just painfully slooooowwwww...
