Forum Culture Tip: (a helpful tip and not a flame)

This is a forum and not a chat room. You are not on a time limit and nobody cares how cool you think you are. Proper (well, at least better) English is greatly prefered. L337 is especially frowned upon and will get you flamed or ridiculed quickly.

Zircher was giving a friendly tip, you must have mistaken it for an insult. He was just saying that we don't much like L337.. No big deal .

Oh no! Chrissy had used her powers to turn herself into a hideous man-eating giant!

Don't start out by making enemies the first day out and his advice is not bad advice. People here for the most part don't care for that short hand language. Usually request typed in this way receive fewer replys and more greif than a badly phrased question. Almost everyone here is a customer/user and the ones on the forum that work for TGC can be counted on one hand. Trying to be nicer even if you choose to use that shorthand is not a bad idea.

This was not given as any type of attack because I can just ignore it and really don't mind either way but just to let you know how most people here respond and react (right or wrong).

By the way good luck and hope to see you around the forums.
