Hi i am new to 3d modeling and have a few questions to ask.

As i understand it - when making a model - us have various primitives to start the model - okay - but how on earth do u use n the tools to actually alter the way the polygons rest - in gamespace, i tried lathe etc - point move - but when i clicked on the model - i coudlnt alter its apearance in anyway. In my mind - i thought that i could pick a polygon and move it freely - cany anyone help - or supply me with a tutorial on constructing a wireframe person in gamespace please

As a general rule, you don't move the polygon as much as the verts (the corners) that define the polygon. Perhaps that insight might help. Sorry, but I don't use gameSpace.

When you want to edit an object in GS you must right mouse click on it,then a toolbar will open up with the various point editing options. You can the select points, edges, faces whatever you select you can then move around.
Just practice for a while and you will soon pick it up.
BTW why dont you join the GS forums theres a lot of people there that

http://www.caligari.com/gamespace/

can help you.
