I'm trying to make a standalone executable with DBP, but even though my exe file is 7 MB with far less than 7 MB of media, it won't run unless it's in the source folder, help?

Sounds like your directly accessing files in folders, and not doing it relatively.

What do you mean? I just found the settings button, and checked the EXE with Attached Media option, but the EXE file still won't run outside the folder. I don't understand what you mean by relatively.

Is not the same as GamesCreator....
Using media attached means that you have to load them inside the editor using "Media" & "add" buttons... never tried, but should work for your purposes.

Ooooooh. I wish there was documentation for that. Thank you very much, it works now. I thought it was like dark basic classic where all you had to do was push a button, I didn't expect it to be so complicated.

This is also a good tip for screen saver builders, they need to go through the same steps to add media to their programs.
