I just wanted to know if there were anybody [besides me] who owns and enjoys a fishtank
post size [of tank] and fish

here's mine:
I have one ten gallon tank with a loach, Light blue Tetra, an african blind frog, a catfish thing (a cory cat.. i think), and a goldfish
and lots of plants (anarchis)

I also have a small 5 gallon tank entirely devoted to 12 neon tetras (I love the little guys/girls)

I saw a Million dollars I ran and tried to grab it then..................... I woke up ughh!

i have one. it's in the basement and empty. it used to contain a lizard, and before that, tiny fish. but they all died. the fish and the lizard. so i don't put anything in it anymore.

OK enough of that damn DBP fanboy banner. i'm NOT a DBP fanboy in any way. i haven't used DBP in over a year, and i don't really plan on using it again.

10 gallon tank with a large albino tiger barb and two smaller red zebra cichlids. Used to have a lot of koi in a small pond, but a neighbor cat killed them all (and I would GLADLY murder the cat if I could catch it.)

It probably died because you didn't put in any oxygenating plants/weed . No but really they need that

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself

ah that would be different, they dont need to steer, ive writen a one line program that lets the fish in my army (yes an army of fish stationed at all ports and aquaria) drive tanks and other amazingly cool flying vehicles

the program is as follows:

We havent used a fish tank since... boy, like 1998, I guess. Instead, we built a pond in my yard, its 16x14x3, and we have a ton of gold carp in there. Don't know how they survive so long (some are going on 4+ years), I mean there are so many ways to be killed in that pond... being sucked into a filter, being frozen in the winter, being eaten by other fish (a lot are cannibals), etc.

It's hard to count the fish since they have fishie sex a lot

I had 10 neons, which all died around the same day.
I've had countless plecos too. Also had some tiger barbs (ate each other, last one died probably auto-canibalism). Then there were a bunch of sword tails, which also ate each other. Also had a beautifull guppy pair that got eaten by the swordtails. I had a silver Colombian Shark, died of lack of pie. He cost me less than a dollar, the guys at LiveAquaria are charging $5! Countless bettas (betta is the correct abreviated name, not "siamese fighting fish", as "Betta Splenden" is the full name) have also taken the toilet route to fish heaven.
Now I have one Tilapia all alone in a 12 liter tank (violent little fish). 4 snails (didn't buy any of them, they just showed up out of no where) in a bowl, one golden Koi and 3 orandas in a 40 liter tank. There's also two other fish, to which I have no idea of their names, and a Cory Cat. As soon as I get a job I'm going to buy more fish. Having an aquarium financed by lunch money isn't very good.

the only fish I've ever had was a gold fish named henry the eighth. I never got another one because it would be proposterous to have a fish named henry the ninth... Instead I waste my time at work and home playing insaniquarium

I have a fishtank. I don't really enjoy it much. I suppose I would enjoy it more if it had something in it

It's espetially hard because I'm trying to steer away from MacDonald's and Teaching. If I wanted to, I could probably get a job easily teaching Word, Excel, etc. or even English/Spanish. But I hate having to speek in public.

@Padawan: Have you happend to see any brazillian fish over there? The rare fish get exported and we (the brazilians) can't buy our own fish. Most of the nicer fish are very hard to find.
Has anybody ever tried a salt-water aquarium? I'm thinking of setting one up, but first I want to see how much this is going to cost me. Salt water fish tend to be more expensive, but often look MUCH prettier. If they die as easily as some of the other fish I've had, I'm going to fry them so as not to let the money go to waste. Fish fingers, anyone?
