I remember seeing some postings about how to create Mario type platform games. Feel free to check out the one I am working on. DISCLAIMER : I do not consider myself a very good programmer. I wouldn't really recommend this as any sort of tutorial.

Hey, i had a look at your game and it looks pretty cool, though i couldnt get it to work, apparently i dont have some dll or something.

Ive just started on a similar type of 2d game, im having problems with the basic animation, i wonder if you can help, please see my post...

It doesn't use any 3rd party DLLs. I'll check out your thread and see if I can be of any assistance.
