A quick site I put together for a game project. Wanted to know what people think of it. I dunno why the rollovers screw up. Must be my lame free host (the only free one Iknew that allows multiple file uploads). And sorry for stealing the Dungeon Siege text. It's just for place holder.

Anyway, tell me what you think.

thanks

brinkster is also a good host. the free account only gets 30 mb of space and 15 mb a day of transfer, for $4.95 a month you get 500mb and 7GB transfer and 1 free domain.

well guess i lied there, it seams brinkster has changed there free account. you get
15 MB WEB SPACE
500 MB WEB TRAFFIC (limited to 16.7 mb web traffic per day)
1 MB Max File Size
good thing i have the general account and not the educational one.

Brinkster used to host PHP and now it doesn't so it sucks in my opinion.

Use bravepages.com instead.

Probably just me, but when I put the mouse over the links at the top of the page (like "Art","Downloads",etc.), the word disappeares. When I click on them, nothing happens!

yeah well, your host shouldn't effect your rollovers unless you programmed them server-side and that would just be dumb

Your rollovers work if you change the filename references of rollovers from .GIF to .gif

This is because your webhost uses case sensitive server.

You sure Mega? They still are .GIF when I right click on them to check properties.

Anyway, it's a pretty good site design, but I have two critiques.

1.) There's nothing to make it unique. Your logo at the top is too generic to make it stand out. Maybe that just hasn't been finished yet?

2.) I don't know about you, but it just seems so empty. Yeah, I know there's no content on it, but there's at least 200 pixels on each side of your design that are empty(1024x768 resolution). Might be a good idea to put a browser box, maybe some banner adds if you want(so long they're game related), or showcase or something.

i like it, perhaps a very slight background that blends in with the black..

as for the buttons, you can tell you're getting a 404 on those.. do as mikeS says, make sure your script and filenames match up (casewise)
