Wow! Looking good. The running animation could use a little work and that gun is a little too massive for an M4.

Nice work

Thanks Konrad for comments, i'll look into them,

Heres the second gameplay movie from Snow Island, this is not the trailer, just another clip showing the game. This movie shows the stealth feature in the game. If you notice to the right of the radar there is a bar, if you are making a lot of noise (i.e. running) this will turn red, so if you are behind an enemy they will hear you and chase you. However if you creep up behind an enemy you can get a clear shot resulting in greater injury, (i.e. walking).

The gameplay videos look pretty interesting , and good job compressing them to such a low file size with that quality, but... it looks like you're using spheres for the snow. That's utterly shocking. It'd still look good if you used plains, along with saving a vast amount of game performance.

Here's a shot of my current project with plains for snow: http://img60.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img60&image=df8.jpg

Looks better in motion, of course; your snow also looks better moving than it does in a still capture. But using plains would really vastly improve it .

Nice game! Only thing I'd recommend would be to get better models/animations at some point. The ones you're using now look very ummm... unprofessional. If you had some better ones it'd make the game look a lot better. But still it's pretty good.

Nice snow and scene.
Reminds me of an RPG game called MM6(more specificly, "The Mist" or something and the snowing place)

Uhm, just a guess, but maybe FRAPS? Espc. considering the little www.fraps.com thingee on top of the screen when you play the movie

bigbrother 2000, like, dude! That is simply cool! The music really sets it off. A coupla things about the animations, though... If I were you, I'd take soldier model and just redo the whole animations. The walking is funny, and the running espcialy... The shooting's abit off, aswell. That's the prob with those DarkMATTER models, they don't seem to have much in the way of decent animations But aside from that, the whole thing looks awesome! Keep it up!

Bring out the mercenary in you!

well just as to update and keep everyone on the same page here is a list of features and updates to come for beta 2 that i am modeling for big brother

1)new detailed soldier model W/ character studio biped/bones rigging ( potentially mo-cap=motioncapture my friend has a mo-cap system in manhattan) work starts next week friday 9/10
the soldier model will have realistic movements running, walking, crouching, leaning around walls, attack animations shooting around walls, kneeling for increased accuracy, animation for reloading clips in the M4.
2) detailed models of M4 carbine,M4 w/M-203 grenade launcher, flares, MP5A3 SMG 9mm, and M249 variant with armor piercing 7.62mm and other weapons to be announced ( new technology??)== already working on MP5A3/M4
3)increased detailed environments buildings, facilities, internally loading levels e.g. genefusion lab facilities, maintainence facilities, security clearance gates e.g. need clearance key cards to get to certain areas. more to come later. currently working on lab facility and objects e.g. Intergrated Genetics Infusion tank,
Neuraltropic linear Filtration system(<--huge liquid suspension system for genetically enhancing specimens)

these are few of the things i am currently working on, i should have something concrete within 1 -2 weeks minimum
