Well its not quite done yet but I wanted comments ^_^. Its a menu song for a snes style rpg, like for making chars and such. The actuial song will be an SNES sounding MP3 but I exported as a MIDI for the 56k users

http://www.digitalneo.net/menu.mid

For you high bandwidth users, you can hear the overworld song for the same game here:

http://www.digitalneo.net/conquest.ogg

Please give me some feedback, good or bad!

im listening to it now and it sounds alright.

Im not a big fan of all midi sounds because they can sound a little tinny or old fashioned compared to a composition exported to mp3 or ogg from other sounds etc..

since your target is a snes type music composition it will work well.

its good, well done.

Sweet, dude, sweet.

*off-topic* I think there was a composer named Dreq on the GameDev.net boards. Are you two the same person or is it just a coincidence?

Not so SNESish and more FF shipish

Oh and Indi, its not a midi. I exported it ~to~ midi. Its actuially an .IT file, which will be exported to ogg since DarkBasic no longer supports module music and i'm too lazy to write an fmod extention dll in .net. That OGG file i posted second used the same sample set as the song exported to that midi fyi.
