Hi,

I tried to access the pictures on your road signs topic but they give me a 404. I couldn't reply to the announcement so I posted here.

Okay.

I have a picture of a sign saying "Beware: Badgers". Had to take it.

[edit]

Do they have to be identical, inlcuding place names (should think not?). ie would any sign outlining the tourist features of a town do?

No, obviously the name places don't have to match - just everything else.

Okay cool.

One last thing, you know when the TGC header prizes are arriving yet? Sorry if I'm impatient, but I'm very excited to get my hands on treemagik after 5 weeks of waiting

This is quite the quest. I'm going to try for the most obscure signs on the pages.

I could easily get the tram ones being just down the road from Croydon and I'm sure walking around London I can get a few of the other weird ones.

Is there a ideal resolution for the pictures or take as higher res as camera does (I have a 5MP canon ixus 500).

Would be nice of you to post up some of your current photos to get an idea of the composition you are after.

Spooky - email Rick and ask, he'll help re: current examples. This is his project, not mine
