I wanted to start a pirate radio station a while ago. I was really ready to do it, but the whole legality side of it kinda swayed me. I know that is not the radio you are talking about, but I just thought I'd mention it.

Pirate radio stations really annoy me, for starters they generally play really terrible music and you can never really hear them properly or the station they're taking the airwave space from.

Where are you getting your licences from? Also, how are you going to pay for all that music? Isn't there an extra fee for giving it out to everyone on the radio?

Well, what I meant was an unliscensed radio station. You do not have to steal bandwidth from other stations where I live. It is a medium sized city and there are a few slots that one could squeeze into, as long as you have a modulator to keep your signal from "spilling out" over other stations. And you have to know what you are doing to get good sound
