OK. i have never really been a fan of FPSs. I'll admit I have not played one in a LONG time (sometime around Quake's release). It was simply that none had sounded interesting to me. Until now.

I was reading a game mag and saw a review for Joint Operations. Looked interesting enough. Online battle fields with up to 150 players. So, realizing that I had some extra cash on this pay check, I picked it up. Now to avoid a long, boring story of the downward spiral of my addiction, I will just tell you that I am at work right now, which is the only reason why I am on here typing instead of creaping over a hill and sniping rebels at Objective C.

Does anyone else on here play this game?

Very serious. But the maps are around 50 square KM, so it nevery gets really cramped!

It's the lag that boggles me. It must require broadband, but still... damn that sounds like fun. Halo's 32-player games were big to me !

I have the lowest DSL offered, and there was basically no lag!!It is a little intensive on system requirements..

The only real problem I can see in the hug maps an battles is that if you want to play with a buddy, you are not actually playing with them, but more like in the same map as them. You may never see them.

I always try to actually play on the 50-65 player servers, at least until I get better, as it is already hard enough to stay alive!
