DarkBASIC Discussion / Patch 113 Error???

When I try installing the Patch for Darkbasic Classic it says "Error: Language not found"

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong??

you need to install the language patch.

Edit: well there was a language patch, but it looks as though the Helpv110.exe is what you need.

No no.. i installed that.. and it still doesn't work. I'm supposed to install the help files in the 'help' folder correct? And the patch installs to the "Dark Basic" folder correct???

That’s odd, I tested before I posted. I upgraded 1.08 to 1.13 and got the same error you did. I then installed the Helpv110.exe and that sorted the problem. And yes the installer should point to the Dark Basic folder.

There is a 1.10 language only patch, although I’m sure the Helpv110 contains that. I’ll see if I can upload it in a mo.

It might be worth uninstalling db and having another go, as it should work. Did for me anyway.
