what programs go good with DB in the meaning of Sound , imaging/texturing , modeling ?

i use LW (Lightwave) from time to time and hope to be getting maya soon

If your using DBC get DarkEdit to replace DBC's horrible interface.

And check out the programs on the main Game Creator site. They are not there just as a plug (at least not most of them), they are there because they work the best with DB!

if your using DBC then darkedit should be in your install folder, cunningly named xdarkedit.exe, just use that and remember to go into options and set up the paths correctly before you try to use it.

Mentor.

PC1: P4 3ghz, 1gig mem, 2x160gig hd`s, Radeon 9800pro w cooler (3rd gfx card), 6 way speakers.
PC2: AMD 2ghz, 512mb ram, FX5200 ultra, 16 bit SB.
Mini ATX cases suck.

I have a question what programs work or is needed with the others

like The 3d game maker does it need the other five or six programs?

or is the game maker its own program and graphics its self?

(im asking here cause nobody seems to post in the new commers thing at the top)

3-D Game Maker (if you are talking about the one on TGC homepage) is a self-containing program. It is nifty for what it does, but it is very limited compared to DB. But you will be able to make playable games with no prgramming!
