Well, I am making some great progress with my entry, so I decided to put up some screenies.

Things finished:
- Newton Physics (Thanks a million Walaber )
- Dynamic Destructiable terrain w/ Newton Physics (Terrain will change with Newton Physics)
- Randomly generated terrain
- Model script which allows new models to be put in the game in less then a minute without any coding. Ex:

Things left to do:
- Enemy AI
- ~20 Weapons
- Finish GUI and Menu.

Here is an in-game pic of a Toilet model (Yes, one of the models is a toilet)
Loaded with this script:
//TOILET 1
//SOURCE: DarkBasic classic media folder

model:TOILET1.x
scale:3000

Walaber, I totally forgot about Newton, I should use it in my Scorched Earth interpretation.

Thanks for reminding me ^_^

yes, Once I get few weapons in and the basic-game play, I will release a small demo to test for bugs.

Busy day today, I recoded half of my engine to include computer players. I wanted to quit like 50 times today

Well, the engine is pretty much finished now. I actually have to start on the game itself, get AI, weapons and particles.

I should have a demo for you guys in a few days with 5 weapons and few levels.

The Computer players are already coded, they shoot, turn turrets, etc.

Things left for a demo:
- Basic AI
- 3 More weapons

looking nice! I was thinking about it, and the AI for a scorched earth game is actually pretty complicated; much more so than my Op Wolf entry

Yep, I will have 3 difficulties, and I already know how to code each one . It will be very challenging because the Opponent learns from his own moves.

Do you think you could code that "Fast object bug" before the compo , that would be so cool.

fast object bug? do you mean in Newton? I'm not the author of Newton, so I'm just as anxious as everyone else for the next update to the SDK
