Well this isnt exactly a copy and paste creator but it is probably the closest thing to creating a MMORPG without having to being a hard core coder.

I havent really looked into it but it does use blitz and cost 50 bucks. I figure if I put this thread here maybe the forum can get rid of some pesky noobs

Hmmm, it looks interesting, but I am skeptical. I would need to see it first, including some of the games it creates. 5kb per person? Not bad...if it delivers.

Ooh, those are some pretty screens. It just needs to be stable, if it can compete feature & ease-of-use wise with other engines like playerworlds then oh yeah, that'll be a hit.

We could do it in DB too, there just isn't enough of a community gathered together. Perhaps the DarkTopia team will enlarge and tackle a similar project once they're finished with DT.

It could be possible if the darktopia team try, there composed of some of the best members on the board, ones who could crush Blitz if they tried hard enough.

Well there is the nuclear glory multiplayer think and that other one for dbpro.

It all looks a bit suspecious to me, there is hardly an info and it only costs $50. I also wonder what they mean by massivly multiplayer, how many players is massive, 10, 50, 500, 1000?

shrink those dbpro exes

Well, weird as it is for me to be saying this, I would be suspicious except it looks like this is a Blitz community project, and I wouldn't take the Blitz community for collectively scamming people!

Yeah, I agree. I don't think it is a scam, but they may be inflating it just a little. We'll just have to wait and see I guess...

I simply don't understand why everyone wants to make MMORPGs... they're the most work, and if you're a hobby coder, definately the least rewarding- after all, a MMORPG needs users... and no matter how talented you are, a hobby coder's MMORPG simply isn't going to get that many people to TRY it, let alone play it regularly!

even if that thing can make MMORPGs they would all be almost exactly the same
(maybe a few switched out models here and there...a few weapons changed properties...ect)
