Okay this is probobly going to make me seem like both a newb and a complette idiot but, are there any 3D rpg makers available?

The answer is probably yes, but would you not get better satisfaction out of making the whole game yourself instead of using a 'point, click, tada there it is'?

try the RPG Maker 2 for PS2.. not that great in my opoin but a little harder than point n click like the 3d game creator limited models and limted battle system (old type where you dont see chacters only mosters) i sugest Dark BASIC intead of it

If you want to make tired re-hashes of older Final Fantasy games with no originality in the design, graphics, or sound, then yeah...

I don't think so but I think one is being made. Check out the Program Announcements and that other projects section thing (I haven't been here for so long I forgot its name ).

If you are looking for one to make cool RPGs try RPG Tool Kit 3. It support ISOMETRIC which basically looks 3D. (http://www.toolkitzone.com/).
