i need a webupdate feature for some stuff i am making can anybody give me anything to consider or a few ideas as far as how to fix somethings or any thingh it should include
i don't need to have http updates all i need is ftp cause i run my own ftp server

I haven't for a while now.

The parameters are : url address, filenames to download (you can ignore the numbers for now), where to store the files, and a flag value.

Various files on the web site can be used to direct the download if one or more files or sites is unavailiable.

i tried out both of your sample programs and they say irregular number ofr brackets

Make the function call so it is all on one line and remove the "_". Or change the concatenation to "_".
With all the different IDEs and some versions of the default ide using a different character for concatenation it's not a very good idea to use concatenation for examples or code you are going to destribute to other people.

yes it is slow cause i can't upload files anyfaster than 20kbs my record is 41kbs at uploading
so yes it might be slow but it works and gets the job done
