Dude, have you been to college? Beer, women, and long nights of game playing/ programming are the order of the day. Lectures and studying are something best left to another day.... Sigh...

Arf. Unless things have dramatically changed then thats spot on. I moved out of the "Hmm, how about we have a live action D&D RPG (grief) in the student union in 10 hours, once we have finished this fun Unix to DOS converter for Lotus 123 application (not work, just fun...)" crowd and into the long haired hard rock appreciation society. *Much* better. Still spent a fair amount of time mucking about with STOS and trying to make a decent dungeon master clone with some mates, plus the usual frigging around with C and raster routines at the time (everyone wanted to do a demo disk). After all, subtract the lectures and there is plenty of time

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Actually I am having a lot of fun...I just started classes today, but that is not the fun part. Playing poker, Need for Speed, fooseball, and pool...those are the fun things.

I haven't even gone into a computer lab yet, we get laptops that we pay for through our tuition. Pretty nice too. Firewall ran at almost 100 fps today!

Just to let you guys know...I don't drink and never will: it's against my religion. At night I watch movies and play video games with my friends.

That's okay, I used to never drink, and I still had some great nights out, people seem to forget that drink isnt essential for having fun.

Exactly, Kentaree! I had fun tonight, obviously without drinking. A couple of friends and I went out and ate supper, then played fooseball and pool.

Hey Anime b l o o d : You play NFS Underground too? That is one of my favorite games? Do you play online? I just started online, because I have a T1 connection here. At home all I had was dialup. Maybe we could race sometime.

There is any other?

If you drink or not, just remember that in a few years time you will have to get a job and work for complete tossers who take most of the money. You will get 20-30 days of annual leave, plus 10 or so bank holidays (all depending where you live) and thats it for the year. You may not even get all of these days off or even your weekends. One year for example I went home to my parents for Xmas, and next holiday I had was at home with my parents at Xmas. Hmmm. During that year I had 3 months (with work) in Dubai where I totalled something like 400 hours of overtime or so (one week did 92 hours in total). Got paid a lot of money that year, plus the back pay from days not taken on holiday. Oh, plus I worked out that I only took about 10 saturdays off all year (did actually have *most* sundays to myself).

So enjoy it now basically And become the next Bill Gates so you don't have to take s**t from p**cks who know less than you. Heh. I bloody loved college I did. To the person who said they hated college, did you stay with your parent's and travel in every day? Just a thought....

I don't actually drink much nowadays, but I feel like one now...

Cheers
