this may sound dumb but is arcsine the same as inverse sin?

if not then how can i get inverse sin in db?

I don't have DB on this computer to confirm, but I am almost 100% sure it is. That is the usual command for inverse sine (or arcsin) on other languages. If you're still uncertain, why not throw in a few values and check with those from a calculator
