Sorry to bug everyone. But i am sorta hapy (just broke up with my GF... so not so happy right now) to say it that i know who the hacker is! Its one of my friends!! *horror music* Well, i IM him for the first time today on my new AOL account. Hour later, my password changes and i cant log on. Am i stupid or is this him? LOL. One of my friends? I dont BELIEVE this! Its actually FUNNY. Its jsut a little prank i think... but wait, we both got hacked. So maybe the hackers still on his account and he saw my friend say "hey david, wats up?" and he knew it was me... woa, now wat? How do i check for outgoing connectins? If its a trojan, then id see it on the list, right? then how do i block his trojan from... wait, this is no trojan! Grr... ok, its jsut one of my friends. But how on EARTH r they getting my password?

Read your help file with your firewall assuming you even have a firewall.

Could you please stop talking about being 'hacked'? It's not funny anymore. You don't have to be a hacker to get someone's AOL password. You have to be a kid with some tools made for people with IQ scores equivilant to a garden gnome that you can download from a million sites across the net.

If you were seriously hacked like this, you aren't helping yourself by posting on these forums. You should backup important files and format your hard drive. But I think its more like this:

It better be the last . I say once again, if you're really 'hacked', you would not be able to merrily drop by these forums and post. Most likely your hard drive would end up totally screwed over before you knew what had happened.

True, keyloggers and what not are not really what we call "Hacked". More like "dooped".

Or maybe you just typed it wrong... By looking at your original post, I think that could happen pretty easily...

Or maybe you were stuck in a static terminal. Or in laymen terms "ghost login".

...........aol........spyware...........die.......

On the little crap proboards site I've got there was some moron bragging about his hacking ability's and threatened to hack the site ( omg i could care less!), so I laughed at him and told him to stop bragging about his uber-leet skill with EasyHack2.0(the easiest point-and-click interface you can find within the aol webring). I got curious if there was an EasyHack2.0, and found something rather similar, it was amusing.

That popped to mind...
