Hi. I thought I would post a thread for us newbies who would like some consolidation on tips for the creation of FPSs. I think, generally, that all the code we have to work with is in ICED or TUTORIAL 25, so we'd like some new blood(or code). For instance, if you'd like to take the time, tell us some stuff about collision (a problem of mine), rapidfire, ETC, so that we can incorporate it in our programs. If yopu have anything at all, ANYTHING, just post. (Got any good weapon ideas??)

Nuclear Glory has a collision DLL, and there is another free DLL available, both in Program Announcements.

DB collision is slow, you will reach it's limits very quickly.

Also, check out the Codebase, a good place to learn.
