I was thinking, would anyone be interested in making a simple website for all of the WIP compo games?

it could be a simple page, with 1 page for each game type, and then subsequent pages for each WIP. the authors could upload images, and make diary entries about the game's progress..

if anyone is interested (and knows enough php/etc to actually build the site), I'd be glad to supply the webspace for it...

What capabilities does your server have?

I have a PHP upload script that is pretty darn simple to use, and I could write an SQL database and loader system etc for each of the users, but you would have to have MySQL etc.

But, having said that, i doubt I have the time to code any PHP

Jess.

Failing that, I could do one without MySQL.

I think my server supports MySQL... but I'm completely ignorant about it... my website is hosted by http://www.powweb.com.

if anyone can whip up the necessary details, let's toss up a little site!

im jus fidiling aroung with controls for file systems so i can learn stuff i dont already know (seeming as i am a beginner in PHP)

edit: maybe you should make it into a developer site specialising on DB/WIP compo games with tutorials and stuff like that - more content and a wider range of ppl that will look at it (php section )

Walaber,
You have 5 MySQL databases ( you only need one )

So, in that regard, you're fine

Jess.
