www.proboards.com.
If you sign up there and tell them your url and all that stuff you will get a link admin, name and password, and last but not least, when you go to the link and you can customize them as you wish.

The url will look something like this:
www.djblackdragon.proboards3.com

I am trying to code my own, maybe if they RAWK enough I will give out the source (but be warned, my PHP skills aren't good overall, and second of all my source will probably contain errors I can use to h4ckz0r your forums, just as an added bonus for me).

shameless advertising indeed

with BB you:
download it, unpack it, upload it to ur server(if u have a seperate style or 5 that takes long), set it up (5 mins), delete a couple files (if the set up doesnt do it) and then change settings within the forum to make it perform as you wish

on DSL about 30hours work if u searched for and used a new style

EDIT: Zero im in the process of thinking about writing a non-traditional forum (as in the emails are on are bar at the bottom of post etc)

.rar : http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/phpbb/phpBB-2.0.10.rar?download (i think)

1. ok unpack the files to a directory on you HD

2. make a directory named forum or phpBB etc to hold your forum on your site (mine is root/forum)

3. upload the the unpacked files to the new folder

once you've done this i'll carry on

i dunt think that using freewebs will work and you need a FTP program (smartFTP.com) to handle the uploading because there are far too many files and i doubt it would work properly

if you really cant set up the forums with my (+other ppls) guidance i'll do it for you, but i'd recommend learning
