This is my entry for TGC Compo 2004. Scorched earth attempt. Rocket Buggies!

Firstly - definately work in progress!

Known bugs..
1) P2 cannot change fire power..
2) If missile goes off screen, can cause problems.. MEMBLOCK related.
3) Shield have no effect yet
4) No collisions - so no scoring!
5) Plenty of other bugs!

Controls are in a readme in the self extracting rar file from:
http://middns4.co.uk/~thingymauk/projects/rocketbuggies/RocketBuggies.sfx.exe

Any comments - contact me at: postmaster@thingy-ma-jig.co.uk

Cheers

Nick

Of course that would have been a good idea too...

As its an early WIP - there isn;t much i can do in terms of screen shots.. But here are two.

Image 1:

[/img]

This one is of Player 1 at the start. The little white thing is a bird.. Although you would be forgiven in thinking its a flying matchstick..

Image 2:

[/img]

This is of the rocket about to land/crash. Its the little white, red, green and blue thing. I might scale it up a little as its not very intimidating right now

Anyways.. All comments are appreciated! Although, if you wanna call it rubbish - a reason would be good.. Then I can make it non-rubbish!

Even better! My website is now updated with a page for the game:

[href]www.thingy-ma-jig.co.uk[/href]

That is the URL for the main website, however I am in the middle of a domain transfer from my old package where I couldn't host these kinds of file. Some of you may be able to use that, some not.. depends on how often your ISP updated its DNS.

If you get a site where the projects menu contains no Dark Basic stuff, then go to:

http://middns4.co.uk/~thingymauk/

This is the server my domain should be pointing to (as I understand it).

From there, go to projects and then RocketBuggies... funnily enough!

The domain has been set now (for me anyway). I will be keeping this thread and that website posted on changes.
