But Sparky made a dll for both DBP and DBC on that page, not just DBP.

Just thought you should add that.

Just basic Client/Server support: ws_Host Port, ws_Connect IP, Port, ws_Send Message, Message = ws_Recieve(), etc.

It should be 100% finished this weekend, it's currently working (you can tell because it's the DLL used in DarkTOPIA ) but I need to add multi-client support, at the moment the server only accpets one client's connection lol.

ClientSocket.dll is now available at http://www.dracsoft.com/zips/client_socket.zip

This is a Winsock DLL to allow raw network connections. Useful for MMORPGs and other games. It uses TCP, so anyone who wants to use it for UDP should ask me for the source so they can change it or wait for Exeat's Winsock DLL.

To install just copy the DLL into your "%DBDir%\Compiler\plugins-user\" directory.

There is an example of how to use it in the zip file.

With the WinSock control, you can actually make an MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger client, because they're just text really...

Google it, I lost the link.

Some will work with that, and some wont - if the plug-in calls the Constructor and various other initialisation functions, then you could get them working yourself if you call these functions manually.

wow, talk about rhetoric not matching the record...

The Winch with a file function tpc, when he's always been there to undermine any post I made about the netlib plugin in response to people asking about file appending and such, by posting along the lines of "you dont need plugins - use pure dbp code" etc etc.

just seems a bit hypocritical, is all.

carmony an md5 dll for dbp would be quite useful but I would add some explanations of the functions and usage etc here or on your site. I for one wont download and run a dll without knowing what its supposed to do etc.

Please add this info asap or I am tempted to delete the post for fear of potentially malicious code - thanks
