Right now I have:

And I will have Multijoy plugin included when I get back to the code.

And it will be a while before you will actually see this program be released, because I have only been working on the interface and have been having major problems with the code tabs.

If you have icons for your plugin that you would like to acossiate with the menu item I would be more than glad to add them, but in order to implement the icon I would need someone to tell me how I can with Visual Basic .NET. (if you would be so kind to tell me how to add icons to menu items, could you also explain how to get the icons from resources in dll files?)

@Cattlerustler
I will not link your ez_serv program to DBN because that is not a plugin or program for DarkBASIC programming.

@The freak next door
When I put your address into AOL I got an error message saying something like page was not available. If you can fix that and say what the plugin is, then I will add it to DBN, otherwise no.

Thanks,
1tg46

Search "terrain" on the DBPro board - you'll come up against the thread eventually

I stickied the DLL for 5.7 advanced terrain.

Get 15 new commands, all the date / time commands left out of DBPro for free!
DOWNLOAD PLUGINS HERE: http://www.davidtattersall.me.uk/ and select "DarkBasic"

heh, I know I was just kidding

Hey wait, it lets you make MMORPG!!!11!1oneone

your app's looking good.
I suggest not hardcoding your links. maybe keep them in a file and set up a default list, but let the user add and remove items as thay wish. Also I noticed it said "Mod2software - CattleRustler" there in the list, would it be possible for it to say "DBP_NETLIB - CattleRustler" instead? Only because the plugin is not affiliated with my company, other than being a page in its web space - no big deal tho, thanks

Cattlerustler, I have changed the text of the menu item, and about the hardcoding of links and switching over to menuitems, I don't know how to do this, and if I do do that how will be able to have icons next to the appropriate menu item, and how will I create the menu item through reading the file. I am lost!

Here what I suggest you do:

o Have a folder called "DLL"
o In your IDE you have an "Add DLL" from drop down menu
o This new popup window has you pick the dll from somewhere on you hd, and give the name, author, and short discription of it
o Then the DLL is copied and added to DLL folder, along with a text file containing the info ("terrain.dll" has a corresponding "terrain.txt")

get it? Very dynamic

I was thinking of something like that, but after that is done I am not sure how I will have DBN read the text files and make menu items out of the items. And also I don't know how I would associate the menu item with a bitmap image when reading the text file, but that I can worry about later because I do not know how I can do that yet (whatever I try I never succeed.

Refer to CattleRustler's Netlib plugin and in particular, the 'Split()' command.

Could DarkBASIC Network X be added to the list above, it is an ongoing project that will add many commands to DBP.
DBNX

Right now their are about 200 commands, but the program is in beta and needs to be tested. The program can now be used in the plugin-user folder of the DBPCompiler folder.

From the readme..

Quote: "Install

Copy dbpmd5.dll to your Darkbasic Pro \compiler\plugins-user\ folder. (Normally C:\Program Files\Dark Basic Software\Dark Basic Professional\Compiler\plugins-user)

Copy dbpmd5.ini to your Darkbasic Pro \editor\keywords\ folder. (Normally C:\Program Files\Dark Basic Software\Dark Basic Professional\Editor\Keywords)

Copy the folder dpbmd5 to your Darkbasic Pro \help\ folder. (Normally C:\Program Files\Dark Basic Software\Dark Basic Professional\Help)

That's it!

Load up dbpmd5.dbpro to see some examples.

MD5s$([string])

Creates a Message Digest (MD5) hash of a string.

Usage: the variable (var$) can be whatever you wish within limits that regularly applies.

var$ = MD5s$([string])

Example:

a$ = MD5s$( "Darkbasic Pro" )

print a$

wait key

Would produce a MD5 hash of: ff0dacb53cad4f7200a600db87fceb1c

MD5f$([filename])

Creates a Message Digest (MD5) hash of a file.

Usage: the variable (var$) can be whatever you wish within limits that regularly applies. If var$ returns empty, then file does not esist.

var$ = MD5f$([filename])

Example:

a$ = MD5f$( "THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE.txt" )

print a$

wait key"

Im not sure if this is what you want ..

By the way if I wanted to post malicious code I could still post it and add the above documentation to it, so I really dont get your point??

They probably won't be added to the list at the top of this thread. I have been waiting for quite awhile for that to happen with my DarkBASIC Network plugin that I have created and mentioned above and it still hasn't happend.

It should be noted that a lot of mine are now depreciated - and they are not longer availiable at the old web site anyway.

I've removed more of my plug-ins, so they are availiable - but only in source code form...
I've now got 5 core plug-ins left - I'll probably be adding those to the source code RAR file later on. As I'm using DarkSDK now, I'm not doing plug-ins any more (and dont really want the hassle of supporting them), especially as I want to get back to game writing...

Attention Mods: This thread needs to be updated and remade and restickied. I've been looking for some of the plug-ins for a while be some links are dead and some I just can't find... I've tried the forum search with no luck and google gives me to many results.
