"..is not a valid win32 application"

This is an error you get when you try to run a file with a .exe extension that is not a DOS or Windows PE executable file. Reasons for error could be that the file was corrupted, or has a wrong file extension. Try to redownload, reinstall, etc, the program that is giving you the problem.

Win32 is any application created after Win3.1.
This includes Win95/98/SE/ME/2K/XP etc.

It looks like its trying to run the file as an exe, there are 2 main things to check.

1) Is the file an exe? If not find a viewer.
2) Make sure the download completed right. Redownload if needed.

I seek the Codemaster Talon.

Zip._matedit_1.1? Eh? a. Matedit current version is 1.6.
b. Where did you get this file from???
c. Well, 'Zip' normally means it's a Zip file. XP & ME can open zip files as folders (you should extract the contents before running a program inside one though), and the rest you should get a zip viewer program.

www.freezip.com
www.7zip.com
www.winzip.com <-- The top zip viewer. The trial version will function, and function well (it won't stop working after a month or whatever)
