This is the 3 level BETA demo for Dumbo... it contains the first 3 levels, roughly about 90% finished. The full thing will have about 4 levels, and lots of improvements including a frontend. Comments welcome!

DKEYS: Move
SPACE: Jump / use ability (where applicable)
RETURN: Toggle ability on / off
Q: Quicksave

DONT FORGET, QUICKSAVE REGULARLY TO AVOID FRUSTRATION

Enjoy,
Drew Cameron

DUDE! AMAZING The gameplay rocks I'd love to betatest for this game. I've found a bug already. You still have to detect whether you can jump or not. you now can walk off a platform and jump in the air. Musn't be hard to fix Good luck with this

If my memory serves me correctly Drew Cameron posted a W.I.P thread about this game when it was earlier in development or with less levels, or something like that.

I love it, but one thing, is it supposed to run THAT fast, it all seems so twitchy to me, and pressing forwards moves you forwards extremely far, so it's so easy to miss a jump, because jump and moving forward move you SOOOOOO much. Is it sync'd? Or is my computer just godly or something?

If you slowed it down, i'd actually be able to play it and enjoy it correctly. But good work! The graphics are great and very creative!

The "bug" where you can jump after leaving a platform is intentional, without it the game would be much, much harder. It is commonplace in good platforming games such as Ape Escape and Spyro the Dragon and was suggested on these very forums...

That's the first I've heard of any speed problems, I'll have a look at that syncing command.

The full game is now quite close, it has one never before seen level and is a lot more polished than this BETA. Coming October 31st!
